Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thats just what BMC had in mind when they introduced the stars and stripes limited edition RaceMaster SLX01. They know that there are quite a few fans out there that will want to imitate our man George Hincapie. They also knew that Ben @ Bens Performance Bikes in Woodbine, Maryland would be the man to build up the ultimate George Hincapie tribute ride.

Bens Performance Bicycles is BMCs #2 dealer and Ben is the man behind all the action. As an ex car racer, Ben understands that attention to detail can make all the difference in the desired results. Hes put this precise focus into building and selling some of the most beautiful bikes in the last few years. He calls his shop a Studio Bicycle Shop due to the one-on-one personal attention he gives each and every customer he works with. Ben takes pride in building you the perfect bicycle according to your specific wants and needs. Thats where this limited edition BMC Racemaster SLX01 comes in.

Bens customer wanted a BMC worthy of George himself, and I think youll agree that Ben over delivered on the goal with this beauty. Ben has managed to piece together quality components that continue the frames red, white and blue theme right down to the last detail. According to Ben, the customer hasnt even seen the bike yet, so this might be the sneak peak they need to ride in for a personal look. I have to say, Ben knows how to put together one sweet ride!

Red, white and blue bar tape keeps the theme rolling.  NO, I don't know what that little bird is...ha ha.

    Gold chain is pretty bling.

Red, white and blue cable housing matches...well, matches everything.
