Mike Birner took his BPB built BMC Team Elite to a first place finish this past weekend at the Bike Line at Fair Hill cross-country mountain bike race in Delaware.  Mike outpaced 40 other competitors in the Sport Veteran I Men's class to take the win by 10 seconds.  Congratulations Mike!

Ben recently put the finishing touches on a TIME RXR ULTEAM bike which is on display at the shop.  This is one of the nicest bikes you will ever lay eyes on; even TIME took notice and posted it up on their website.  Build details and a photo can be found there at the following link:

BPB will be sponsoring a ride from the shop with the HoCo Cyclists on the first Saturday of every month beginning tomorrow April 4th.  Water, donuts and coffee will be available before and after the ride for those who join us.  Come on out for a great no-drop, all-pace ride of 17, 22, or 25 miles and feel free to stay and socialize at the shop afterwards.  Ride time is at 8:30am promptly (to allow shop employees time to ride and open the shop by 10am) so please plan to show up 15 minutes early to be prepared.

Ben's Performance Bicycles is getting even more involved in the local racing scene, this year sponsoring the Greenbelt Park Training Series.

The Greenbelt Park Training Series is one of the longest running racing series on the east coast.  Races will be run every Wednesday night from May 6 to June 24 and July 8 to August 26.  Cash payouts for all A and B races, prizes for the C races and gift card primes for all categories.
