Ben's Performance Bikes was well represented at the Charm City Cyclocross race on September 20th.  In the Elite Men Masters 1/2/3 race, Blair Saunders won his age group while finishing 3rd with a sprint at the line.  In the same race BPB BMC rider Mike Birner was in the money, finishing 7th in his age group and 10th overall.

In the 3/4 Masters 35+ race, Scott Stahl rode his Time cross machine to an 8th place finish, while BPB Ridley rider Neal Sapp finished just out of the money in 14th.

Blair Saunders has joined BPB Racing for 2010.  Considered to be one of the best all around riders in the Mid-Atlantic Bicycle Racing Associatoin (MABRA) and competes in virtually every discipline of cycling.  For the cyclocross season Blair will be tearing it up on a BPB built Ridley X-Fire so look for him to be at the front of the pack in the Elite Men Masters 1/2/3 races in the area.

The monthly shop ride for September is this Saturday the 5th.  There are 40 and 20 mile planned routes.  Rides are all-pace and everyone is welcome, however we recommend participants be able to maintain a pace of at least 13 mph on moderately hilly terrain.  The cuesheet for the rides is attached.  Meet at the shop at 08:15am with a departure of 08:30am promptly.
